Active Minds is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building awareness around mental health and suicide prevention following a death by suicide in 2000.

At Active Minds, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. Our K-12 resources and programs set the foundation for life-long mental health advocacy, leadership skills, academic success, and peer-to-peer connections. Through our K-12 expansion initiative, we aim to curate formal pathways for K-12 programming with our FREE or low-cost programs to support the mental health initiatives of schools.

For schools, Active Minds provides:

  • Access to mental health literature tailored to K-12 audiences
  • Peer engagement through chapters and clubs on school campuses
  • Resources and programs designed to promote self-awareness and resilience
  • Program alignment rooted in K-12 education frameworks and best practices (e.g., SEL, MTSS, WSCC model)
  • At a high school level, you can establish an Active Minds chapter.
